Telecom Switch Storage Unit (DSU)/อุปกรณ์บันทึกข้อมูลชุมสายโทรศัพท์ (DSU)

อุปกรณ์กล่องเล็กๆขนาดพอๆกับเครื่องสำรองไฟของเรา ได้ช่วยให้ชุมสายโทรศัพท์ในประเทศไทยยังคงใช้งานได้ต่อไปอีกเป็นสิบๆปี มันถูกพัฒนาขึ้นมาเพื่อใช้ทดแทนเครื่องอ่านเขียนเทปแม่เหล็กที่ชุมสายใช้ในการบันทึกข้อมูลการใช้งานเพื่อนำมาคิดเงินลูกค้า รวมถึงเฟิร์มแวร์ของชุมสายโทรศัพท์ อุปกรณ์บันทึกข้อมูลชุมสายโทรศัพท์ หรือที่เราตั้งชื่อมันว่า DSU เป็นสินค้าระดับมาสเตอร์พีซชิ้นแรกของเรา เป็นงานที่ท้าทาย และใช้การวิจัยและพัฒนาอย่างเข้มข้นตั้งแต่การส่งวิศวกรไปนั่งในชุมสายเป็นเดือนๆ เพื่อดักจับข้อมูลการสื่อสารระหว่างเครื่องบันทึกเทปแม่เหล็กกับชุมสายโทรศัพท์ และนำข้อมูลดิบที่พิมพ์ใส่กระดาษประมาณ 10 แผ่น มาไล่เรียงและวิเคราะห์ว่ามันมีการสื่อสารข้อมูลกันอย่างไร ปัจจุบันเราได้พัฒนา DSU ขึ้นมา 2 รุ่นเพื่อใช้กับชุมสายโทรศัพท์ NEC และ SIEMENS และติดตั้งไปแล้วเกือบ 200 เครื่อง ขอบคุณบริษัทต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้องที่ไว้ใจ้ให้เราได้ทำงานชิ้นนี้ นับเป็นเกียรติประวัติและเป็นความภาคภูมิใจอย่างสูงสำหรับทีมงานเล็กๆของเรา 

This compact box the same size as our UPS can prolong the usage of Thai telecom switches for decades. It was developed and replaced from magnetic tape recorders that the telecom switches used for recording and calculating customer’s payment including firmware of telephone switches. Telecom switch storage unit called DSU is our first masterpiece product. It was really challenging and was invested a lot of research and development. We had to send our engineer at sites for months in order to catch up data between a magnetic tape recorder and a telecom switch then printed out raw data about 10 pages and analyzed how they were communicated. Now, we have developed DSU for 2 series to use for telecom switches of NEC and SIEMENS which have been installed for almost 200 units. We sincerely thanks to all relevant business and organizations to trust us in inventing this project, this is our honor and achievement that we really proud of as a small startup.
